FIDEO, FIDEO, FIDEO con pollo!!

That's usually my request every time I'm home with family. 

It's my all time favorite comfort food anytime of the year. Last night though, I felt it was extra yummy because it was still cool outside.

  Here's the recipe:   1 Box of Vermicelli   1 can of stewed tomatoes  3 cloves of fresh garlic   1 Onion  1lb of Chicken (this may vary depending on how many you're feeding)  Olive oil   Chicken bouillon

  Brown the fideo in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. It should be a nice golden brown color before adding a few slices of onion, fresh garlic  & about half of the can of tomatoes (you can add the juice,  it's optional)

 Meantime, boil your protein. I used 4 drumsticks & 1 boneless chicken breast. Add the chicken flavored bouillon to the broth so you can use it when your chicken is ready.

 Finally add your chicken and broth to the fideo. Keep in mind I enjoy mine very soupy so I'll add broth as I go (Be sure to cover your pan so the fideo can finish cooking after you add your chicken) Let it simmer for about 15mins.

That's it friends! Enjoy & keep in mind you can always substitute the chicken for ground beef or any other type of protein ya like!
